We designed a battery lock that works both with and without our air module, so the user only needs to install the lock once. On the left side of the image below, the original DJI battery lock is shown. It is crucial to install the battery lock correctly, with all four rings in the right order and position. On the right side of the image below, you can see our custom battery lock.
It is very important you install the battery lock correctly!! There should be 2 rings to the left, and 2 rings to the right according to the installation image.
Use an Allen key to uninstall the DJI battery lock. Be careful when loosening the screws to prevent the springs from jumping away. Remove the original battery lock and replace it with our battery lock, following the correct assembly order.
Our battery lock is designed to work with the DJI batteries standalone, or with our air-module. When using the battery lock for the DJI batteries standalone (image on the left), the 2 locks should be rotated. When using the battery lock with the air-module (image on the right), only 1 lock should be used.
